1. Prepare the images
Crop unnecessary surroundings before importing. Avoid screenshots of screenshots: each extra resave can blur small text.
2. Arrange the pages
Open Images to PDF and add your pictures. Put them in reading order and review orientation. Use a consistent page size and appropriate fit option where offered.
3. Create the PDF
Convert the images, save the PDF and inspect a full page plus a zoomed section containing small text.
Check the result
Look for cut-off edges, sideways pages and overly large white margins. A clean scan at a sensible resolution is often more useful than a huge, blurry photo.
What to know
An image PDF contains pictures of text. This workflow does not perform OCR or produce editable paragraphs.
